The Art of Monday Morning offers a practical method of self-reflection that is designed to:
Recognize sensations, emotions, and thoughts that are unhelpful as they happen
Bring clarity to what is driving those sensations, emotions, and thoughts
Develop the ability to choose alternative ways of being that are more useful, effective, and helpful.
While we’ll discuss meditation deeply, it isn’t all that you’ll learn. The main focus of the work is the intentional process of noticing our emotions (especially those that aren’t helpful), investigating the thoughts behind those emotions, and uncovering the stories that are driving those thoughts. Most powerfully, when our stories aren’t clear or helpful, our process of mindfulness provides tools to be free from those stories, driving new thought patterns and emotions that are clear, connected, conscious, and compassionate.
